Tenured Retail and Technology Leader to Advise on Transformative IT Performance and Business Strategies
BOSTON, August 1, 2023 SmartSense by Digi®, part of Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII, www.digi.com) and a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of Josh Jewett, Operating Partner, NewRoad Capital Partners, to its Food Service Advisory Board. The SmartSense Food Service Advisory Board launched in September 2022 to support continuous improvement of the company’s production, distribution, and customer-success processes. Jewett will join the board alongside leaders from Clipper Advisory Group, Giant Eagle, Inc., Schnuck Markets, Inc., Mueller Consulting, Charleys Philly Steaks, and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Jewett is an experienced IT practitioner and corporate executive, providing strategic guidance to clients across the supply chain, logistics, retail, and CPG sectors. Prior to his current role with NewRoad Capital Partners, he served as the Enterprise CIO at Dollar Tree Inc., and SVP of IT and CIO of Family Dollar Stores. Jewett was also recognized as Strategic Impact CIO of the Year by RIS News in 2013.
